Dr. Carlyn Sainvil is a Family Medicine Doctor and owner of Elitist Healthcare. Dr. Sainvil is dual board-certified with American Board of Family Medicine and American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Sainvil medical services focuses on evaluation and treatment of common mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD, as well as providing weight-loss management for low-risk patients. Her experience and skills as a primary care doctor allows her to do a thorough work-up of patient’s symptoms to rule out other conditions such as thyroid problems, low testosterone, and anemia which can also cause similar symptoms.
Dr. Sainvil realized early on in her medical career a link between the most common mental health disorders and weight concerns. In an effort to help with the lack of medical providers available to provide treatment she started a Telehealth practice called Elitist Healthcare.
Dr. Carlyn Sainvil received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Florida State University, Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University, College of Health Sciences; and obtained her medical degree at Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2015. She completed her Family Medicine Residency training at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She is a member of many health organizations including American Academy of Family Physicians, Georgia Medical Association, and Florida Medical Association.
She is licensed to practice in Georgia and Florida and currently working on obtaining licenses for additional states.
Dr. Sainvil has worked in a diverse range of medical settings including inpatient hospitals, Emory Healthcare outpatient clinic, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing medical care to the underserved and underinsured population, and a correctional facility providing quality medical care to inmates.
